Beauty School – Things To Ponder

Beauty School – Things To Ponder

Obsession with beauty is nothing new. From the ancient times, both men and women have been trying out various formulas to enhance their beauty. It is said that queen Cleopatra of Egypt used to bath in goat’s milk to keep her skin glowing. Even today people are very eager to maintain a youthful appearance as well as keep a well-groomed body. A beauty school is a part of this picture.

What Is A Beauty School?

Cosmetology is a science and refers to the study and application of beauty treatments. Cosmetologists are usually required to be licensed, and therefore they need to study the art from a recognized school. This is where beauty schools or cosmetic schools come in. Beauty schools teach the students basic skills required to groom the hair, nails, face, and body. They also teach advance skills in hair therapy, hair styling, manicures techniques, nail art, facials, massages, acupuncture, and so on. Beauty schools provide both short-term and long-term courses for their students. Students in beauty schools usually get hands-on experience as well as theoretical knowledge. Without hands-on experience, it is difficult for the students to actually master the use of various tools and products. The schools also allow the students to chose an area of expertise and specialize in that area. They come out with good knowledge about skin care and with remedial measures for many skin ailments like acne.

A Cleansing Experience for the Mind and Body

A Cleansing Experience for the Mind and Body

Are you tired of feeling sluggish? It’s possible that the hazardous chemicals and toxins we’re exposed to every day are stealing your health and vitality.

Toxins naturally accumulate over time, and with the increased media attention focusing on this issue over the past several years, I’m sure it’s one that most of you are well aware of and concerned about – and rightly so.

Consumption of natural, organic food limits exposure to chemicals, additives and preservatives. However, even with healthy organic eating, toxins from the environment (pollution) and ingredients found in many cleaning and body care products can still enter your system through inhalation or absorption through your skin.

Why should you consider detoxification?

Cases of chronic disease have risen over the last 20 years along with the number of man-made toxins in our environment
Optimal health and functioning of the body are affected by toxins
Chronic exposure to various toxins is linked to infertility, eczema and cancer. In fact, 90% of all cancers are thought to be linked to environmental carcinogens1

What are toxins and where do they originate?

Toxin exposure is inevitable in this world. Compounds used in our everyday life such as detergent, chronic use of medication, excessive consumption of caffeine and alcohol, tobacco use, and a poor diet high in processed foods and fat are just some examples of unwanted exposure to toxins.
